Water Pollution

Water pollution is any chemical, physical or biological change in the quality of water that has a harmful effect on any living thing that drinks or uses or lives in it. When humans drink polluted water it often has serious effects on their health. Water pollution is not just something that big chemical plants make. We all need to look at our impacts and try to make improvements. Make sure you use biodegradable products made with natural products and make sure all waste is disposed of properly.
There are several classes of water pollutants; The first are disease-causing agents. These are bacteria, viruses, protozoa and parasitic worms that enter sewage systems and untreated waste. A second category of water pollutants is oxygen-demanding wastes; wastes that can be decomposed by oxygen-requiring bacteria. When large populations of decomposing bacteria are converting these wastes it can deplete oxygen levels in the water. This causes other organisms in the water, such as fish, to die. A third class of water pollutants is water-soluble inorganic pollutants, such as acids, salts and toxic metals. Large quantities of these compounds will make water unfit to drink and will cause the death of aquatic life.
Another class of water pollutants are nutrients; they are water-soluble nitrates and phosphates that cause excessive growth of algae and other water plants, which deplete the water's oxygen supply. This kills fish and, when found in drinking water, can kill young children. Water can also be polluted by a number of organic compounds such as oil, plastics and pesticides, which are harmful to humans and all plants and animals in the water. A very dangerous category is suspended sediment, because it causes depletion in the water's light absorption and the particles spread dangerous compounds such as pesticides through the water. Finally, water-soluble radioactive compounds can cause cancer, birth defects and genetic damage and are thus very dangerous water pollutants.
My recommendations is to overcome this water contamination, better every house have some plants or trees in the future water that flow or diffuse in land or ground, can be filtered by earth and water even also can be kept by tree reffered. In every house must have grass yard and minimization the usage of cement or asphalt to arrange in layers land or ground. And throw away garbage and also waste promiscuously in water stream either that moat or river. For industry community don’t throw away their waste to river stream because will destroy ecosystem in and its surroundings.

Muhasabah (Introspeksi Diri) di Penghujung Tahun – Sebuah Renungan

Hari berganti hari, tahun berganti tahun, tiada terasa begitu banyak hal-hal yang telah kita perbuat, sedangkan usia semakin menggiring kepada kematian, tapi tidak seorang pun dari kita yang mengetahui apakah amalannya diterima oleh Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala atau justru ia tertolak sehingga menjadi orang yang merugi.

Pergantian tahun merupakan momen penting bagi kita untuk introspeksi (muhasabah), melihat kembali apa yang telah kita kerjakan pada masa yang lalu untuk berbuat lebih baik di sisa waktu. Semoga tulisan kali ini dapat memberi sedikit pencerahan kepada kita dalam meningkatkan kualitas iman dan ketakwaan kita kepada Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala, amiin.

Muhasabah (menghisab) diri ada dua macam: menghisab sebelum berbuat dan menghisab sesudahnya.

Adapun yang pertama (menghisab sebelum berbuat) adalah berfikir pada awal perencanaan dan kehendaknya dan tidak langsung berbuat sampai jelas baginya mana yang baik, melakukan rencananya atau meninggalkannya.

Al Hasan Al Bashri Rahimahullah berkata, “Allah merahmati seseorang yang berfikir pada awal perencanaannya, apabila (rencananya itu) karena Allah ia lanjutkan, dan apabila karena selainnya ia tinggalkan.”

Sebagian ulama menjabarkan hal ini: apabila jiwa seseorang tergerak mengerjakan sesuatu, hendaknya ia merenung dan mengamati apakah rencananya itu dalam batas kesanggupannya atau tidak? Apabila ia di luar batas kesanggupannya, hendaknya ia berhenti. Sedangkan apabila masih dalam batas kesanggupannya, hendaknya ia merenung dan mengamati kembali, apakah menjalaninya yang lebih baik ataukah meninggalkannya. Apabila jawabannya yang kedua, hendaknya ia meninggalkannya dan tidak menjalaninya. Sedangkan apabila jawabannya yang pertama, ia merenung dan mengamati sekali lagi, apakah motivasinya mengharapkan wajah Allah Azza Wa Jalla dan pahala-Nya atau mengharapkan kedudukan, pujian dan harta dari makhluk? Apabila jawabannya yang kedua, hendaknya ia tidak menjalaninya meskipun rencananya membantunya meraih harapan-harapannya, agar jiwanya tidak terbiasa dengan kesyirikan sehingga menjadi ringan baginya berbuat bukan karena Allah, karena semakin ringan bagi seseorang berbuat demikian semakin berat pula baginya berbuat karena Allah Ta’ala, hingga ikhlas menjadi perkara yang terberat bagi dia.

Sedangkan apabila jawabannya adalah yang pertama, ia merenung dan mengamati lagi apakah faktor-faktor yang memudahkan terpenuhi, ia memiliki rekan-rekan yang siap membantu atau membelanya, apabila rencananya tersebut membutuhkan orang-orang yang membantunya? Apabila ia tidak memiliki rekan-rekan yang membantunya, hendaknya ia menahan dirinya sebagaimana Nabi Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam bersabar dari berjihad di Makkah sampai ia memiliki kekuatan dan shahabat-shahabat yang membelanya. Dan apabila ia memiliki rekan-rekan yang menolongnya, silahkan ia lanjutkan karena sesungguhnya ia akan menang.

Keberhasilan tidak akan pergi kecuali dari orang yang menelantarkan salah satu dari perkara-perkara ini, karena kapan perkara-perkara di atas terpenuhi pada seseorang keberhasilan pasti menyertainya.

Ini adalah empat tingkatan, seseorang perlu menghisab dirinya pada tingkatan-tingkatan tersebut sebelum berbuat. Karena tidak semua yang ingin dilakukan seseorang, di dalam batas kesanggupannya. Dan tidak semua yang ia sanggupi, mengerjakannya lebih baik dari meninggalkannya. Dan tidak semua yang mengerjakannya lebih baik dari meninggalkannya, seseorang mengerjakannya karena Allah. Dan tidak semua yang niatnya karena Allah faktor-faktor pendukungnya terpenuhi. Apabila seseorang menghisab dirinya di atas empat tingkatan ini jelaslah baginya mana yang harus ia kerjakan dan mana yang harus ia tinggalkan.

Yang kedua: Menghisab diri sesudah berbuat. Dan hal ini ada tiga macam. Yang pertama, menghisab diri atas suatu ketaatan yang usai ia kerjakan namun ia kurang memenuhi hak Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala padanya, sehingga ia belum menunaikannya dalam bentuk yang seharusnya.

Dan hak Allah di dalam suatu amalan ketaatan ada enam macam: ikhlas dalam berbuat, totalitas dalam beribadah kepada-Nya, mencontoh Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam dalam pelaksanaannya, mengakui segala karunia dan anugrah-Nya dan setelah itu mengakui kurangnya dia dalam memenuhi semua itu.

Maka ia menghisab dirinya apakah ia telah memenuhi hak tingkatan-tingkatan ini? Apakah ia sudah mendatangkan itu semua dalam ketaatan yang telah ia kerjakan ini?

Kedua, menghisab diri atas setiap perbuatan yang telah ia kerjakan, namun meninggalkannya lebih baik dari melakukannya.

Ketiga, menghisab dirinya atas perkara mubah atau kebiasaan yang telah ia kerjakan, kenapa ia kerjakan? Apakah ia mengerjakannya karena mengharapkan wajah Allah dan negeri akhirat? Sehingga ia menjadi orang yang beruntung, atau mengharapkan dunia dan kesenangannya yang sesaat, sehingga ia merugi tidak beruntung!
